Rebecca Weeks is a marine conservation biologist and aspiring photographer. Originally from England, Rebecca is now based in Suva, Fiji. Rebecca left the UK for Australia on a PhD scholarship to study marine conservation biology at James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland. Intending to work on the Great Barrier Reef, she ended up focusing her research on community-based marine conservation in the Philippines, where she lived for six months. Upon graduating, Rebecca moved to Fiji to work with the Wildlife Conservation Society. She has no plans to return to the UK!
